How do I signup for electricity with JUICE?

For residential customers, the  easiest way is to visit our enrollment page to get started. Input your zip code, choose a plan and you can signup in about five minutes. Commercial customers can visit our commercial enrollment page and request a quote.

If I am switching providers what will happen?

A standard switch typically takes place within 1-7 business days of your agreement. If you have an alternate start date or a particular move-in date you can choose that when enrolling. Before you are switched, you will typically receive written confirmation in the mail and you can expect your first electric bill from JUICE on your next billing cycle.

Will there be any hidden charges on my bill?

Billing transparency is an important part of your customer experience at JUICE. All costs will be clearly labeled on your electric bills with no surprises.

Will there be a deposit?

A deposit may be required depending on your payment history and your credit score. If a deposit is necessary, the amount will be calculated at the time of your enrollment request and the deposit will need to be paid before service can begin.

What is the Electricity Facts Label or EFL?

All electricity companies are required to provide the Electricity Facts Label to help you understand what you are a getting as part of your Terms of Service agreement. You can see energy rates, fees, and renewable energy content for your electricity plan.

What are market securitization charges?

In the aftermath of 2021 Winter Storm Uri, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) approved a regulatory change to the Texas electricity market, including allowing ERCOT to obtain approximately $3 Billion financed through bonds to help stabilize the wholesale electricity market. These charges are passed through to you without markup. This charge is per kilowatt-hour and should be a relatively small amount on your monthly bill and will fluctuate with your usage.
